The message is that new and digital media has had a enormous
impact on society and peoples life in general.Due to the fact that people are
use to traditional media like the television and newspaper; instant news and
instant access to information means that the media and news must update their
news hourly and must be keeping up to date, to the minute in order for them to
stay in competition with social media such as Twitter and Facebook. The viral
of the YouTube clip in the short film, and them taken it down 9 minutes later
and still went viral shows the viewers how fast the web is and once something
is put on the web, you no longer have control over it due to the vast amount of
people on the internet. This again suggests that the Prime Minister and the
Government have no power or control over the content that goes on social
networking sites or the internet.
