Representation of race and ethnicity

 London Olympic 2012 opening Ceremony

The London Olympic opening ceremony was about representation and ethnicity and how society in Britain is so multicoloured. Its portrayed progression view for example the family. the dad was black and the mum was white; with a mixrace kid which is an great example of Diversity.  The fact that teenagers all around the world being together and getting along celebrating this event shows the world how multicultural London really is. We can refer this to the Alvarado's Humorous theory  as they have made the whole concept funny. This then gives Britain a very good representation that they are very caring and loving. That everyone cares for each other in Britain and how they don't think a difference in people from all backgrounds. The second video we watched was the NHS celebrating the opening ceremony of the Olympics. The reason the NHS were there to celebrate the opening ceremony was because the NHS is a very big part of UK and how every year they help millions if people stay aware from illness.

I think that the Daily Mails article for the NHS was negative. The NHS have saved millions of people’s lives every year. The NHS is unique for UK, as no one in any other country saves people’s lives for free. Where ever you go in the world you will have to pay for your treatment.  writing about a small boy who was killed by the NHS for not suppling him with a glass for water, when the boy was in hospital.this will lead to Alvardo Theory's this goes into the factor old dangerous and pitted. Overall, the Daily Mail has a very wrong sense of the NHS, they cannot just discriminate the NHS, and The NHS is such a powerful aspect of Britain, which makes Britain very unique.
